One hour on Zoom. You build three skills inside your own Claude account, with me talking you through each one. You leave with three fully operational skills and the know-how to tweak them to your context.
A Generous Welcome reflects the work of April McClure Stewart. It is not sponsored or endorsed by the future Living Waters Region of the Christian Church in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
The three skills are yours the moment you register, so if you are already familiar with Claude, install and get to work. Each class is capped at 30. Every purchase includes the recording.
If you want truly helpful material from AI, you need to take the time to set it up well. AI knows nothing about the congregation you serve, how your board actually decides a thing, what you believe about the Table, or how you sound when you are writing to people who know you. It will guess at all of it until you articulate what matters.
I’ll get you there in the fewest steps I can while keeping your values front and center in everything you do with AI after the class ends.
All skills are translatable to multiple denominational contexts. Please email April with questions.
We’ll take time to create a single document Claude reads before it answers anything you ask — who you serve, how your congregation actually makes a decision, what you believe, how you sound in writing, and your theological and liturgical standards.
You’ll also articulate boundaries for where AI doesn’t belong.
The skill builds on the theological framework in your README to create a robust, relevant exegesis with actual honest citation and references that applies to your study and preaching on any particular Sunday. It references your preaching plan, preferred scholarship, and conversation partners and is the frame on which a sermon may be formed and shaped.
One sermon, or even one voice memo recorded in the car, becomes a newsletter article, two posts for Facebook and Instagram, and a script for a sixty-to-ninety-second video that can be used on a platform like TikTok. The skill builds your “voice card” the first time you run it, so what comes out sounds like the person your members already know.
If you need an intro, let’s take twenty minutes right before we start: 12:30 to 12:50 p.m. Central on October 8, or 10 to 10:20 a.m. Central on October 14. We’ll get your account set up, you can see what this thing actually is, and I’ll show you where we will be working in the class.
The intro is $20. Add it at checkout when you register for your class. If you have used Claude even a little, skip it and come at the start of class.
If you’re already familiar with Claude and just want skills that shape your work to your actual context, poke around The Toolshed.
Any single skill is $20 and is downloadable at purchase.
